About Ms. Serrano
Laura started her career in dermatology working with Dr. Shirley Chi as a licensed vocational nurse in 2002. She graduated from Cerritos College in 2012 as an RN and received her bachelors in nursing at the University of Texas, Arlington, all while expanding her breadth of experience in dermatology. She also works in acute care at Loma Linda University Medical Center, specializing in pre-and post care of solid organ transplant patients.
Laura works in our Arcadia office and specializes in laser treatments for rosacea, acne, wrinkles, and dark spots. She also performs Ultherapy, neurotoxin treatments, Microneedling, and chemical peels. She says that helping people brings her great joy, and to that end she also completed a medical mission trip to the Brazilian Amazon rain forest, helping set up clinics and provide preventative education to local communities. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her kids, visiting museums and traveling.
